Première exposition en France consacrée exclusivement aux œuvres sur papier de l’artiste Kenny Scharf à la Villa Navarra au Muy. Toutes créées cette année pour cette occasion. À voir du 23 mai au 30 juin 2024, uniquement sur rendez-vous.




Lors d’une conversation avec Kenny Scharf, Doriano Navarra lui parlait de l’intérêt particulier qu’il porte aux œuvres sur papier d’artistes. Ils évoquèrent la possibilité que Kenny en réalise une série qui serait exposée à la Villa Navarra dans le Sud de la France. Là, où en 2021 ils avaient déjà rassemblé 47 tondos. L’idée était lancée.
Puis lorsque Kenny confiait à Doriano être invité d’honneur – durant le Festival de Cannes – au dîner de l’amfAR pour y réaliser une œuvre en direct au profit de l’association, c’est tout naturellement qu’ils ont décidé de programmer l’ouverture de l’exposition à la suite.
